It not only requires storytelling skills, but also the presentation of the story. With our Essay Writing Competition, we want to discover essay writing talent from the student community. This also acts like scholarship for students and lighten their load of academic expenses.
CHHOTU RAM PUBLIC SCHOOL is pleased to announce the DELHI STATE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION-2018. (Website:-www.crpsdelhi.in)
The Competition will be conducted among students of class X to XII.
All the entry to this competition are FREE. Deadline for registration is 30-09-2018.
Steps For Registration:-
1. Visit our school website @www.crpsdelhi.in
2. Click on the link “DELHI STATE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION 2018”.
3. The Registration link for the essay competition will open up in the new window.
4. Click on new registration in the window and then click on the register button.
5. To begin with the online registration, a candidate needs to provide basic details of themselves like name, parents name, date of birth, school, e-mail etc.
6. The registering students also need to upload their school identity cards.
7. Click on submit button to submit your online registration form. It is advised that students verify their details before submitting the form. All the students will be issued their respective registration ID for the competition.
8. The last date of registration is 30-09-2018. No entries (of any kind) would be entertained after this date.
• The competition will be held on 05-10-2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
• All the contestants must ensure to scan and upload their essay before 2 PM on the school website.
NOTE: The entries should be uploaded in the format-PDF, JPEG, or MS Word.
Rules
• The decision of the school authorities will be final and binding.
• All entries will be checked for plagiarism. Plagiarized articles will be rejected and the participants will be banned from participating in any future competition as well.
• Language for the essays will be English only.
• You should be the only author of your essay. Co-authorship is not allowed.
• Formats accepted are .doc and PDF.
• Certificate of Participation will be awarded to all participating students.
• First 3 entries will be announced with commendation certificate.

ESSAY CONTENT
• Maintain word limit: Your essay should be in between 2000-3000 words.
• The essay is to be written in perfect English Language.
• Your essay should be 100% plagiarism free. It will be checked on plagiarism check software before being considered.
• Use active voice, multiple paragraphs to make it readable.
• Your story telling capability will be judged.
