Origin & History

Chhotu Ram Public School was established in 1993 with the vision of promoting quality education and social development in the community. The school was founded by Sh.Virbhan Janghu and Sh. Satpal Janghu, residents of Bakhtawarpur, Delhi in loving memory of their respected uncle Sh. Chhotu Ram.

To fulfil this vision, they formed the “Chhotu Ram Jat Education Society” on 1st October, 1992 which was officially registered under the Society Registration Act XXI of 1860 with Registration No. S/23440 of 1992.

Since its establishment, CRPS has grown into a respected institution known for its commitment to academic excellence, character building, discipline, and holistic development of students.


The main objects of the society are as under: -

·      To promote and diffuse the useful knowledge for the advancement of education.

·      To arrange, establish, run, manage, aid educational schools or institutions and to bring the education of best standard within the reach of poor and weaker sections at the lowest possible cost and to produce the well informed and self-assured young men and women.

·      To cultivate interest in students for fine arts and provide them with the avenues of learning, promotion arts to Indian cultural heritage.

·      To provide libraries, books on educational, social subjects, organize discussions and seminars to promote knowledge and understanding amongst the students and general public.
